Consultation on Proposed Change to Our Published Admission Number (PAN)
Woodlands Infant and Nursery School would like to inform parents, carers and stakeholders that Lincolnshire County Council has launched a public consultation regarding a proposed change to the school's Published Admission Number (PAN).
The proposal is to reduce the PAN from 60 pupils to 45 pupils for Reception admissions from the 2028/29 academic year.
This proposal reflects the changing demand for school places locally and aims to ensure that the number of available places more closely matches future pupil numbers within the area.
It is important to note that:
- There will be no immediate changes to current pupils attending the school.
- The proposal would only affect admissions from September 2028 onwards.
- The school will continue to provide the same high-quality education, support and opportunities for all pupils.
- Reducing the PAN will help ensure efficient use of school resources while maintaining the excellent learning environment that Woodlands Infant and Nursery School provides.
The consultation is now open and all interested parties are encouraged to share their views.
